Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of Fyndo's platform and services. We've written them to be clear and fair — please read them before using the platform.
Plain-English language. No hidden clauses. We explain what every section means for your team.
You own all content you bring into Fyndo. We never claim rights to your enterprise data.
Your content is never used to train or improve AI models, by us or any third party.
Terms align with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and India's DPDPA where applicable.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Fyndo platform, website (fyndo.ai), APIs, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using Fyndo on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Fyndo Technologies Pvt. Ltd., incorporated in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Enterprise customers may have a separate Master Service Agreement (MSA) that supersedes these Terms where there is a conflict.
1.1 Definitions

| Workspace | A Customer's isolated environment within the Fyndo platform. |
| Subscription | The plan selected by the Customer, granting access to Services for a defined period. |
2. Our Services
Fyndo provides an AI-powered enterprise search platform that unifies your organisation's knowledge, tools, and workflows. The platform includes:
- Fyndo Search: Unified natural language search across 45+ enterprise integrations, with permission-aware results and AI-generated cited summaries.
- AI Answers: Synthesised, source-attributed answers generated from your organisation's trusted data.
- Analytics: Usage insights, search trends, and knowledge gap identification.
- Administration Console: Workspace management, user provisioning, integration configuration, and audit logs.
- APIs: Developer APIs for custom integrations and workflow automation.
2.1 Modifications to Services
We may modify, update, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice. For material changes affecting core functionality, we provide at least 30 days' advance notice to account administrators.
2.2 Beta features
We may make certain features available as "beta" or "preview". These are provided as-is without warranty and may be modified or discontinued without notice.
3. Accounts & Access
3.1 Account creation
To use the platform, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
3.2 Administrator responsibilities
- Inviting and managing users within the Workspace.
- Configuring Integration permissions and access controls.
- Ensuring that all users comply with these Terms.
- Maintaining accurate billing and contact information.
3.3 Minimum age
Users must be at least 18 years old. The Services are intended for business use.
3.4 Permission enforcement
Fyndo enforces source-system permissions on every query. A user can only retrieve content from a connected Integration that they are already authorised to access in that tool.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful business purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or connected systems.
- Use the Services to transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Scrape or extract data in a manner that circumvents rate limits or access controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
- Resell or sublicence access to the Services without our prior written consent.
- Use the Services in violation of applicable laws, including data protection and export control regulations.
- Submit content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
4.2 Responsible AI use
AI-generated answers are based on your organisation's data and are intended to assist — not replace — human judgement. You are responsible for verifying AI output before acting on it in material decisions.
⚠ Important: Fyndo's AI Answers are informational only. Do not rely solely on AI-generated output for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions without independent verification.
5. Data & Privacy
5.1 Customer Data ownership
You retain full ownership of all Customer Data. These Terms do not grant Fyndo any rights to Customer Data except as strictly necessary to provide the Services.
5.2 Licence to process
You grant Fyndo a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to access, process, and index Customer Data solely for the purpose of operating the Services. This licence terminates when you close your account or disconnect a relevant Integration.
5.3 Zero data retention
Fyndo does not store the content of documents, messages, or records retrieved from your Integrations. Enterprise search content is processed in memory and immediately discarded. Fyndo does not use Customer Data to train or fine-tune any AI model.
5.4 Privacy Policy
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
5.5 Security obligations
You must promptly notify us at security@fyndo.ai if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your Workspace.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Fyndo's IP
Fyndo and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, software, algorithms, visual design, trademarks, and all other intellectual property embodied in the Services.
6.2 Licence to use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Fyndo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services during the Subscription term for your internal business purposes.
6.3 Feedback
If you provide suggestions or feedback about the Services, you grant Fyndo a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use and incorporate that Feedback without restriction or compensation.
6.4 Customer branding
With your permission, Fyndo may reference your organisation as a customer in marketing materials. To opt out, email marketing@fyndo.ai.
7. Payment & Billing
7.1 Subscription fees
Fees are set out in your Order Form or the applicable pricing page. All fees are quoted in USD (unless stated otherwise) and are exclusive of applicable taxes.
7.2 Payment terms
- Annual plans: invoiced annually in advance.
- Monthly plans: invoiced monthly in advance via credit card through Stripe.
- Invoices on invoice billing are payable within 30 days of issue.
7.3 Late payments
Unpaid amounts accrue interest at 1.5% per month. We reserve the right to suspend access after providing 10 days' written notice of non-payment.
7.4 Taxes
You are responsible for all applicable taxes (including GST/VAT) arising from your use of the Services.
7.5 Refunds
All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in an Order Form.
8. Availability & SLA
8.1 Uptime commitment
Fyndo targets 99.9% monthly uptime for the core search API, excluding scheduled maintenance and force majeure. Status and incident history: status.fyndo.ai.
8.2 Service credits

Credits must be requested within 30 days of the incident and are the sole remedy for downtime.
8.3 Scheduled maintenance
We provide at least 72 hours' notice for planned maintenance. Emergency maintenance may be performed without advance notice to protect security or integrity.
9. Liability & Warranty
9.1 Warranty disclaimer
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FYNDO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9.2 Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FYNDO'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 500. FYNDO IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
9.3 Exceptions
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
9.4 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fyndo from third-party claims arising from: (a) your use of the Services in violation of these Terms; (b) Customer Data that infringes third-party rights; or (c) your violation of applicable law.
10. Termination
10.1 By you
You may cancel your Subscription at any time by contacting billing@fyndo.ai or through account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
10.2 By Fyndo
Fyndo may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms and fail to cure the breach within 10 days of written notice, or in cases of insolvency, legal risk, or non-payment.
10.3 Effect of termination
- Your access to the Services will be disabled.
- You may export your account data within 30 days of termination.
- Sections 5.1, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
11.1 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Telangana, India. For EU customers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of local law may additionally apply.
11.2 Dispute resolution
Contact us first at legal@fyndo.ai. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 30 days, both parties agree to binding arbitration administered by the Indian Council of Arbitration in Hyderabad, India, conducted in English.
11.3 Class action waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you waive any right to bring or participate in a class action against Fyndo.
11.4 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, any Order Form, and any DPA, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fyndo. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force.
